Therapy With Me

Being human can feel really hard and lonely sometimes. Too often we get a message that we just need to try harder and get grittier. And so we turn our focus inward to fix the problem, to fix ourselves.

I strongly believe the problem is not inside you. It is the result of multiple complex relationships, the experiences you’ve had (and didn’t have), and your unique social contexts. Through slow and gentle inquiry, we'll work together to bring more curiosity, awareness, and compassion to your experience - mind, body, and heart.

As a therapist and a person, I’m a combination of grounded and idealistic and am comfortable in the grey areas of life. Using mindfulness, embodiment, somatic and relational practices I aim to help clients cultivate an attitude of acceptance while building their capacity for change.

My trauma-sensitive approach is strengths-based with an empathetic presence. I believe in our innate impulse toward healing. We'll start with what's already working for you and find new ways to help you meet life’s difficulties and move toward the life you desire.

I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and have experience working with individuals, intimate partners, families, and groups. I especially enjoy exploring life transitions, grief and loss, relationships, parenting, anxiety and depression, and self-compassion.

You are not alone and you deserve to get the support you need. If you're here, you’ve already taken a meaningful step toward healing and connection. Let's find a way forward. Together. One breath at a time.
